Gathered at Orlando International, we learned (with delight) of a flight delay. The 2:00 reschedule resulted in allowing our group to watch the Innauguration in its entirety, at our gate.
Not sure how frequent the reports will come. All will depend on internet access.

Pre-trip Scramble...and Ham Steak
Chaos abounded last night, when I couldn't locate my "proof of immunizations" card. Are you kidding me? THAT many shots in the arm, and no proof but sore deltoids! So, early up and out, to be at the Travelers Health Clinic at opening this morning. New one issued. Thanks be to God (and the great nurse who helped me out.)
With blood pressure and pulse a bit hightened, what else could I do but stop over at Christo's for the morning special. Scrambled eggs, hamsteak, breakfast potatoes, toast and coffee.
Better now.
This morning, David and Merrie Harding, George and Betty Stuart and I meet at the Airport for an 11:45 a.m. departure to D.C. Steve Silver is taking an earlier flight and will meet us in Washington.
We will then depart Washington for Germany, and then on to Ethiopia!
Prayers: Join us in praying for the security and safety of all Innaugural Events today. It's a special day for our nation, and we trust in God's good care for all!
Till next post...

Packing...
Hello friends. Currently, I am in the throws of packing socks, mosquito repellant and meal replacement powders! Tomorrow we depart on our mission to Ethiopia. We're a bit bummed that we will be in the air during the innauguration ceremony, but we are enthused none-the-less to be embarking on such a journey.
I invite you to check this blog site each day. I will be updating it on the progress of our adventures, as often as possible.
In the mean time, I would cherish your prayers for our group and our families. The CPBC members attending this trip, by name they are: George and Betty Stuart, Steve Silver, David and Merrie Harding and me.
Blessings to you!
